what i missed

we didn't live in our house at this time last year. i took a walk the other day to check out what I had missed.
















beautiful, huh? this is my mini-field of flowers in our woods.

also, when we moved in last may, we received some kind house warming gifts. I am pleased to be able to say that I did not kill them!

our peonies (my favorite flower) making a come back!


oh yes, the lilac bush from my mom has some buds.
